IS suicide bomber kills at least 15 in Baghdad

BAGHDAD: A suicide bombing claimed by the Islamic State group killed at least 15 people in a Shia area of Baghdad on Sunday, security and medical officials said.

BAGHDAD: A suicide bombing claimed by the Islamic State group killed at least 15 people in a Shia area of Baghdad on Sunday, security and medical officials said. The bombing, which struck near a checkpoint in the Kadhimiyah area, home to a major Shia shrine, also wounded at least 29 people, the officials said. Islamic State issued a statement claiming the attack.
