LONDON: Ten countries that account for 2.5% of world GDP are hosting 56% of its refugees, Amnesty International said on Tuesday as it slammed “the selfishness” of wealthy nations. It lamented that countries immediately neighbouring crisis zones bear the brunt of the global refugee problem.
