At least 13 people died and 30 were injured when a bus crashed on a German motorway on Monday, police said.
The bus was taking a group of over 45 people to the city of Dresden when it swerved off the road and plunged down an embankment near the town of Koennern in eastern Germany.
The vehicle began its journey in the western German town of Ibbenbueren.
Helicopters and police helped rescue workers evacuate the injured to hospital.It was not immediately clear what triggered the accident.
