Police spokeswoman Kelly Miner said the shootings happened about 6pm at Al's Barbershop.

Miner says nine people were shot and three of them are confirmed dead.

Miner says she doesn't know the ages or sexes of the victims or how many people may have been shooting.

The barbershop is in a strip mall along a major road.
