Afghanistan's interior ministry says gunmen have kidnapped nine private security guards in Kabul province.
The statement says gunmen attacked the guards working for a construction company on Monday in Sarobi district, sparking a gunbattle. One guard was wounded and nine others were kidnapped. The statement, issued on Tuesday, did not identify the guards or their nationalities.
