The game, a sequel to the successful first-person shooter title, is the biggest and most anticipated video game of the year. The game boasts of being the most technically, visually impressive video game ever produced, ananova.com reported.
A gala premiere was held for the the game at the Leicester Square ahead of the global launch in which thousands of retailers around the globe opened till midnight on Monday to accommodate the rush of eager fans.
“It is quite weird because you expect it, it feels like a movie premiere. These games now are so advanced and so atmospheric it feels like you’re actually in a movie,” said Kevin McKidd, who voices the central character of Captain “Soap” McTavish in the game.
