After Pamela Anderson, Michelle Obama Westwood's new muse

After declaring Pamela Anderson as her official muse, British designer Vivienne Westwood seems to have changed her mind in favour of US first lady Michelle Obama.

After declaring Pamela Anderson as her official muse, British designer Vivienne Westwood seems to have changed her mind in favour of US first lady Michelle Obama.

Westwood was so impressed by Michelle's sartorial sense that she is thinking of designing a bag in honour of the better half of the US President Barack Obama, reported the Mirror online.

"Michelle is officially the trendiest First Lady ever. Vivi has been showering her with presents and requests and is even talking about designing a handbag in her honour," a source close to the designer told the newspaper.

The choice of muse is a bit of an irony as Westwood is known for her outlandish designs while Michelle has impressed with her understated yet chic style.

The likes of Pamela Anderson, Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell have been Westwood's inspirations in the past.
