Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd said he expected unemployment in Australia to rise despite encouraging economic data, with the latest job ads data showing stabilising employment conditions.

Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd said on Tuesday he expected unemployment in Australia to rise despite encouraging economic data, with the latest job ads data showing stabilising employment conditions.

"We're not out of the woods yet and I expect unemployment sill to rise," Rudd told Sky television.
