A bomb killed 10 people and wounded 25 when it exploded in a vehicle market in central Baghdad on Friday, just four days before US combat troops are due to withdraw from Iraqi cities and towns.

Police said the bomb was planted on a motorbike in the market, which specialises in motorcycles, in the Bab al-Sheikh area of central Baghdad. More than 70 people were killed in a bomb attack in Baghdad's Sadr City neighbourhood on Wednesday.
