Google launched a fortune telling app that claims to predict your future.

Users are invited to ask any question that they may have about their future while Google examines old search data.

“With our latest addition to Google we try to experiment with fortune-telling. Based on your previous search results and your profile, we try to make a good prediction of your future,” says the search giant.

But, wait. It ain’t that easy to know your future as it seems.

When you click on ‘predict my future’, you are redirected to a page which informs that Google Fortunetelling is merely a project aimed at creating an awareness on the ongoing migrant crisis in Europe.

Users are encouraged to tell their friends about this campaign, check local initiatives or donate to one of the charities.

Europe is grappling with its worst migrant crisis since World War II.

The crisis in Europe has worsened as civilians seek to escape the four-year-old civil war in Syria, in addition to fleeing conflicts in Afghanistan, Yemen, Iraq and Libya.

The International Organization for Migration said on Friday that a record 473,887 refugees and migrants had crossed the Mediterranean to Europe so far in 2015, including at least 182,000 Syrians - almost 40% of the total.
