A warm and unusual letter sent by the headteacher of primary school in Lancashire, England has got overwhelming support on Twitter. Rachel Tomlinson, head of Barrowford school in Nelson, near Burnley, in her letter to students written after their exam results said that school was "very proud" of their effort in the tests. She further wrote that the school was "concerned that these tests do not always assess all of what it is that make each of you special and unique."
The letter from head Rachel Tomlinson, along with another member of staff, also told the students that people who create these tests and score them do not also know all of their qualities like their teachers or family.
The school trended on Twitter on Tuesday morning as Rachel's letter went viral. People appreciated the effort of the school and its way of handling the students. Some twitterati even suggested that Rachel should take over as UK's education secretary.
