The partially burnt body of Ranjodh Singh, 25, was found beside Wilga road, Willbriggie, in southwest New South Wales, Dec 29. The victim had been living at Wagga Wagga and was visiting the town of Griffith at the time of his death.

Detective Inspector Paul Smith says police have received significant information from the public.

"Police are currently following a number of lines of inquiry into Mr Singh's death, and are interested in hearing from anyone who may have witnessed a red 1996 model Ford Falcon, with a spoiler on the back, in and around the Griffith and Wagga Wagga areas in the days before and after the discovery of Mr Singh's body," AAP news agency quoted Smith said as saying on Friday.
