Iran condemns bombings in India

Condemning the serial bombings in Bangalore and Ahmedabad, Iran expresses sympathy to the families of the victims.

Iran on Monday strongly condemned the serial bombings in the Indian cities of Bangalore and Ahmedabad and expressed sympathy to the families of the victims, IRNA news agency reported.

Hassan Qashqavi, foreign ministry spokesman, said in a statement: "Such acts which hurt innocent citizens are inhuman. We wish fast recovery of the injured ones in the incidents."

On Saturday, atleast 50 people were killed in the serial bombings in Ahmedabad, while one person was killed in Bangalore blasts on Friday.

More than 200 people were injured in the two serial blasts.
