King of Pop Michael Jackson's fans have taken an offencive towards the film This Is it and have launched a campaign to boycott it.
The two-hour long movie charts the Thriller hitmaker's final concert rehearsals and is scheduled to be premiered on Tuesday.
But fans of Jackson have claimed that the film covers up the pop legend's failing health and the stress of the planned 50 London shows leading up to his death in June, reported Guardian online.
Thousands of fans have joined the online protest, which is named This is Not It. They have claimed 20,000 hits in 24 hours on their website.
"In the weeks leading up to Michael Jackson's death, while this footage was being shot, people around him knew that he looked like he might have died. Those who stood to make a profit chose to ignore it," the group said.
Jackson family members and stars are expected to descend on a red carpet at Los Angeles's Nokia Theater for one of the more than 15 premieres, which will be held simultaneously across five continents.
