An earthquake of moderate intensity shook the Australian state of Victoria on Tuesday though there were no reports of any damage or casualty.
Besides the Victorian capital Melbourne, tremors were felt all across the state around the quake's epicentre of Korumburra.
The quake was hit at 11.32 am (local time) and its intensity was registered at 4.4 at the Richter scale, according to Geoscience Australia.
Korumburra Hotel publican Troy Patterson said when the earthquake hit, the pub shook for about eight seconds, accompanied by a loud rumbling.
"The whole place literally shook... You would think a truck had driven through the pub," he said.
Korumburra Tourist Park owner Susan Fuchs said the quake had brought down several trees, but guests had escaped uninjured.
"They didn't hit any cabins or anything, which was lucky," she said.
"It was pretty horrendous, a bit of a shock".
In late March and April, two small earthquakes, registering 2.4, were felt in Korumburra which was also hit by two quakes in 2009 that registered 4.6, and were followed by hundreds of aftershocks.
