A 5.3-magnitude earthquake struck near Micronesia on Saturday, geologists said. The quake hit at 1900 IST at a depth of around 37 kilometres the United States Geological Survey said. The USGS added the epicentre was around 300 kilometres northeast of Yap in Micronesia.
