Whenever it's hot outside, we all look for various treats to cool us down. And, now our pets can also enjoy the summer treat -- thanks to a new range of luxury ice cream developed exclusively for dogs.
Nutritionists at British pet food company Wagg Foods have developed the Frost and Hound desserts, in fact the frozen treats come in three flavours — Panting Peanut Mutter, Chase Your Tail Cheesecake and Oaty Pawfection.
They are made from natural frozen yoghurt which contains good bacteria to help digestion, as well as yucca extract to help reduce the unpleasant odours from flatulence, according to its developers, The Daily Telegraph reported.
Also hidden in the ice cream are dog biscuits. But, the product is still in the development stage and is being tried out by some pets. Creators hope to have it on the shelves in time for next summer and aim to sell it in pet shops and supermarkets. The price has not yet been decided.
