US President Barack Obama, would travel to Vatican to meet Pope Benedict XVI on June 10, the White House has announced.
"On his upcoming trip overseas, on Friday, July 10, the President will visit with the Holy Father Pope Benedict XVI to discuss a range of issues, including their shared belief in the dignity of all people," the White House Press Secretary, Robert Gibbs, said.

The First Lady, Michele Obama, too would accompany the US President on this trip, Gibbs said.
