Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Sunday left Singapore after concluding his two-nation visit to Indonesia and Singapore during which he attended two key Asian summits and held talks with the leadership of this country.
Singh was in Bali for three days earlier this week to attend the East Asian summit and the summit of Association for South East Asian Nations (ASEAN).
On the sidelines of the summits, he held talks with US President Barack Obama, Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao and Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard, among other leaders.
On the second leg of his five-day trip, Singh flew to Singapore where he held held talks with Singapore's Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, who extended his country's support to India's bid for a permanent membership of an expanded UN Security Council.
During his two-two stay in Singapore, Singh invited greater investments from Singapore and described the city-state as a "valued partner" for India's ambitious plans for infrastructure development.
Singh also unveiled a bust of India's first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru in Singapore.
