Somali pirates captured an Italian-flagged US tug and its 16-strong crew on Saturday, an official with Kenya's East African Seafarers Assistance Programme told AFP.
"It's a US-owned and Italian-flagged tugboat that was taken around 1100 this morning in the Gulf of Aden," said Andrew Mwangura.
