Thousands of Yemenis today demonstrated in Sanaa calling on President Ali Abdullah Saleh to depart after being in power since 1978.
"Enough being in power for (over) 30 years," chanted protesters in demonstrations staged by the Common Forum opposition in four locations in the capital, AFP correspondents reported.

They made reference to the collapse of the power of ousted Tunisian president Zine El Abidine Ben Ali saying he was "gone in just (over) 20 years."
