UAE to host World Future Energy Summit in 2011

The United Arab Emirates will host the fourth World Future Energy Summit 2011 (WFES), an annual meeting dedicated to renewable energy.

The United Arab Emirates will host the fourth World Future Energy Summit 2011 (WFES), an annual meeting dedicated to renewable energy.

WFES will be held in Abu Dhabi Jan 17-20, 2011, Reed Exhibitions announced Tuesday. It is expected that one of the key discussion topics in the summit will be how to utilise the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region's enormous potential to produce renewable energy.

WFES, a unique business platform aiding the global development and commercialisation of renewable energy solutions, is expected to attract greater number of visitors than last year's event, which attracted 24,792 attendees including heads of state, energy and environment ministers from 148 different countries.
