"It's been a terrific couple of days and, because of that, I have joked I might actually try to buy a house in Sydney. So if anyone has got any properties for sale, please let me know," the media quoted William as saying on Wednesday.

The 27-year-old second-in-line to the British throne, in fact, said these during an interaction as he was treated to one of Australia's favourite pastimes -- a barbeque -- in the picturesque surroundings of the Botanic Gardens in Sydney.

A hand-picked list of young Australians, including sports stars, actors, lifesavers, emergency service staff, and the New South Wales Premier Kristina Keneally were present at the interactive session.

With a spectacular view of the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge behind him, William said he had fallen in love with their city. "I have had the most warm welcome ever -- not just with the weather but all Sydney people. Thank you so, so much," he was quoted as saying.

Prince William also took a 45-minute power boat ride around the Sydney harbour before boarding another boat with family friend and former Equerry to the Queen Mother, Edward Dawson-Damer.
