Angie Cromar, a Utah woman is pregnant with two babies but they are not twins. She came to know about it when she went for her first ultrasound, according to LA Times website.
She said her first ultrasound was surprising to both her and her doctor as she is conceiving two babies and that at two different development stages. At that time one baby was five weeks and a day old and the other six weeks and a day.
Reports said that Angie knew she was born didelphys, a rare condition which means two uterus. Though it never became an issue in her earlier pregnancies but this time she conceived in both. And now each about 20 weeks along.
This type of conditons is rarely seen but this is not for the first time. Less than 100 people in the world are known to have given birth in this way, according to report.
Cromar, a labor and delivery nurse, admits that she knows the rarity can bring about complications like pre-term labor and low birth weight but at the same time she is nervour and excited.
