Ten Yemeni soldiers are believed to have been killed in a helicopter crash in the northern Saada region where Sanaa has battled Shi'ite insurgents on and off since 2004, an official said on Sunday.

"The 10 soldiers are believed to be killed," the official said, blaming the crash on a technical fault.
