Sanjay Dutt, fondly known as Sanju baba, attended ‘PIGMENT - colors with purpose’ - a fund raiser exhibition organised by his sister Priya Dutt in Mumbai on Saturday (June 11). His wife Manyata, who was also present at the event, took liking to a Tanjore painting of lord Ganesha in 24 karat Gold and Artistic Poster Colour and expressed her desire to get it for herself.

Sanjay, lost no time and immediately purchased the painting by Jaipur based artist Suvigya Sharma. A part of the sale proceeds of the exhibition will go to the foundation.

The exhibition marked the 35th anniversary of the Nargis Dutt Foundation and was attended by veteran actor Om Puri.
