What is Yuvraj Singh’s wife Hazel Keech’s new name?

Hazel Keech has been renamed Gurbasant Kaur and the change came to light when the people who attended her wedding with Yuvraj Singh noticed Balvinder Singh, who performed the rituals, address Hazel as Gurbasant Kaur during the ceremony.

Yuvraj Singh and Hazel Keech’s got married according to Sikh rituals near Chandigarh on Wednesday and the couple are now in Goa where they will get married as per Hindu rituals on Friday.

However, there are reports doing the rounds that the Bollywood actor changed her name for the first wedding ceremony which took place at the Dera of Baba Ram Singh.

Apparently, Hazel Keech has been renamed Gurbasant Kaur and the change came to light when the people who attended the wedding noticed Balvinder Singh, who performed the rituals, address Hazel as Gurbasant Kaur during the ceremony. Yuvraj Singh and mother Shabnam are followers of Baba Ram Singh, who, it has been reported, suggested Hazel’s name change.

After the Goa ceremony, Yuvraj and Hazel (Gurbasant rather) would be in Delhi for a star-studded wedding reception which, it has been rumoured, would be attended by Bollywood superstars, Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Amitabh Bachchan, and prime minister Narendra Modi.

The name change did get Twitter buzzing, some intrigued, some appalled that Hazel changed her name, post wedding.
