It got excellent reviews and even got Sylvester Stallone a Golden Globe for best supporting actor and now MGM studio is planning to release the sequel of Creed in November 2017.
The studio has already started working on the follow-up to Ryan Coogler’s Rocky spinoff, reported Variety. If the film drops out as per the plan, it will release approximately two years after the first instalment.
Directed and co-written by Coogler and starring Michael B Jordan and Sylvester Stallone, Creed earned excellent reviews.

Sylvester Stallone, says his role in the film was inspired by his relationship with his real-life son. Sylvester, 69, expressed surprise about winning the award over other Hollywood heavy-hitters such as Idris Elba (Beasts of No Nation), Mark Rylance (Bridge of Spies), Michael Shannon (99 Homes) and Paul Dano (Love & Mercy), reported Us magazine.
“... To be frank, any time you can vent emotions that are real, I think it’s very, very helpful. Most importantly I wanted to respect his (son’s) memory, and I think we did.”
Sage, the eldest son of Sylvester and Sasha Czack, was found dead in his Studio City, Los Angeles home in 2012.
