Salman in a video for Bigg Boss 4
Salman Khan is the first host of Bigg Boss 4 to shoot a music video for the show. The video has the star surrounded by hot babes and the lyrics go like...
Salman Khan, who just returned from Norway where his recent release
Dabangg
was screened at an international film festival, has shot a special music video to promote his upcoming TV reality show,
Bigg Boss 4
on Colors. The actor reported at around 2 pm for the shoot at Film City, Goregaon’s floor No 1.
Khan insisted on his pet composers Sajid-Wajid, who also composed chartbusters for
Dabangg
with Lalit Pandit as a guest composer, to conceive the track for the video, titled
Chele chapate aur jhol jhapate, yahin fatenge sab bomb patakhe
, that encapsulates the show’s look, feel and character.
Pony Verma, who was a judge on
Chak Dhoom Dhoom
, and has worked with Khan on various international shows, has choreographed the one-and-a-half minute video and Milan Luthria has directed it. Khan has been styled by Ashley Rebello.
Just for fun
“It features Salman grooving with girls. We’ve tried not to give him too many difficult dance moves because his attitude does it all. Even if he moves around in the frame, looking into the camera with a smile, it works,” beams Verma.
Wouldn’t it have been better to have all the contestants of the show featuring in the video? “But that would have given out everything from the show right now. We managed well with the girl dancers. Salman looks chilled out too. I couldn’t have asked for more,” asserts Verma.
The video will be on air from next Sunday, September 26, till the season ends this year. It’s expected to be aired on music channels too.
Ashwini Yardi, head of programming, Colors, says, “Since the time we’ve announced Salman Khan’s name as the host for
Bigg Boss 4
, we have witnessed unprecedented excitement in our audience. And as Salman promises
Andar majaa aur baahar majedaar
(inside fun, outside entertaining) in our series of promos, we thought creating a music video would take the excitement one flight up.”
