Oscar-winning music composer AR Rahman shared a poster of his first film production titled 99 Songs on social media. Positioned as a musical, the film is a Tamil-Hindi bilingual about as aspiring singer who is trying to get toehold in the music industry.

The 49-year-old singer took to his Twitter handle and shared the movie’s first colourful poster, captioning it as “With your support & good wishes, I’m pleased to share my movie’s first poster! http://fb.me/31QYlmNBc.”

Casting director Mukesh Chhabra also tweeted the first poster of 99 Songs, saying, “Such a blissful feeling to be a part of this film. @vishweshk’s #99Songs. @arrahman’s 1st feature film presentation.”

Earlier, it was reported that Rahman is in search of a new South Indian actor for his musical flick. His production house, YM Movies, is producing the Tamil-Hindi bilingual, which will depict the struggles of an aspiring singer to make it big in the musical industry.
