Vidya Balan not doing Dhanush's next, says director

For a while now, there have been reports that Vidya Balan could be doing a Tamil film opposite Dhanush. Now, the director RS Durai Senthil Kumar has confirmed that she is not a part of the yet untitled film.

For a while now, there have been reports that Vidya Balan could be doing a Tamil film opposite Dhanush. Now, the director RS Durai Senthil Kumar has confirmed that though the Bollywood actor was approached for a role, she is not a part of the yet untitled film.

"The team had approached her but since she couldn't allocate dates immediately, the idea was dropped. We are on the lookout for a suitable actress," said Senthil Kumar.

For the first time in his career, Dhanush will be essaying dual roles. The film, which is slated to go on the floors next year, will be produced by Dhanush.



This will be the third time will be producing Senthil Kumar's film after Ethir Neechal and Kaaki Sattai.
