Watch | NASA mission to bring back rock and soil samples from asteroid

A new NASA mission is all set to explore our origins. It is sending a spacecraft to an asteroid that will return after seven years with rock and soil samples. The Osiris-Rex spacecraft will set off on a two-year journey towards Bennu and will collect asteroid samples and return to Earth. In 2018, Osiris-Rex will begin a detailed survey of Bennu. A year later, it will make contact with Bennu through an 11-feet arm.
