Tune in to the troika
We enjoyed their music in Dil Chahta Hai when it was released more than a decade ago. The inseparable trio of Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy is known for mixing the old with new, and coming up with melodies that makes us fall for their music all over again. Shankar Mahadevan's gifted voice, Ehsaan Noorani's energy on the acoustic guitar and Loy Mendonsa's flair on the grand piano, it's like a beautiful affair with music and melody. Catch Ashvin Gidwani Productions' Shankar Ehsaan Loy Live and Unplugged in Delhi next Sunday. March 11, 7:30pm, Siri Fort Auditorium, Tickets priced at Rs 500, Rs 1,000, Rs 2000 and Rs 3000. Mythological miniatures
Udaipur-born Chhotu Lal is a miniature painting exponent. Miniatures have enjoyed the royal patronage and have led to the flourishing of a number of schools in Rajasthan. From his chosen gouache (concentrated watercolours, which makes it heavier and more opaque) palette to the selection of brushes, stone and handmade Rajasthani paper, Lal's work infuses a timeless sensibility. The exhibition titled 'Poetry of the Brush' is inspired by mythology, with the recurring
juxtaposition of nature and the human spirit. Till March 20, Nitanjali Art Gallery, C-66, Anand Niketan. Call 24111099 for further details

Calling the spirit of colour
Spring is here. So is the festival of colours. Be a part of Delhi's 'maddest' do, the Holi Cow Festival, with over 80 artists, musicians, and other 'mad bovines' performing. The festival is a series of pre-events leading up to Holi. This year the festival also has a Moo Yatra - a colourful motorcycle parade around town with over 100 bikers, four days before Holi to officially mark off the festivities. With performances by Soulmate, Bombay Bassment, Menwhopause and Skavengers, this festival promises to unite you with the Holi spirit. Mar 8, 11am, Holi Cow Barn, Zorba, MG Road. Log onto
