If you want to taste the royalty and regalia of Rajasthan, pay a visit to the exposition, Treasures of Rajasthan, in the city. From vintage artefacts, bandhej bandhani saris, silver decorative items and special travel packages to the state, the showcase, which is on display till today, has a lot on offer. Organised by the Maharaja Sawai Man Singh Museum Trust and princess Diya Kumari from the royal family of Jaipur, the exhibition is being hosted in collaboration with the Embassy of Egypt, and is being held in their premises at Niti Marg.

One section of the exhibit is solely dedicated to jewels from Rajasthan, and includes stalls from labels like Nayab Jewels, Gems Paradise and Alankriti, that have on offer silver jewelled ornaments, gemstones and Jaipuri beads. If you are looking for semi-precious, coloured stones, visit Gem Plaza, where the price range starts from a few thousands, and climbs to a whopping crore. For festive cards, cute envelopes, hand-made broaches and notepads, check out Hot Pink. “We don’t retail from the Capital, but this a chance for us to showcase our stuff. There are products from Rajasthan, for everyone — at prices tailored to suit everyone,” says Deborah, who is spearheading the stall.
