Sarabha Nagar police booked Kamal Chaitely, his son Harsh Chaitely and supporters for trespassing on Saturday.

Kamal Chaitley is the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate from Ludhiana West.
A case under Section 451, 323, 506, 149 and 294 of Indian Penal Code has been registered against the accused, following a complaint from Mandeep Singh of Bhai Randhir Singh Nagar, who is a Congress supporter.
Mandeep Singh said Congress candidate Bharat Bhushan Ashu had established an election office on his property. On Friday night, the accused struck at the office and accused Ashu of storing liquor, allegedly for distribution among voters. When he resisted, the accused allegedly manhandled him.
Subsequently, the police searched the office but found nothing objectionable. No arrest has been made so far in the case.
