New Delhi is a suburban assembly seat that comes under the New Delhi Lok Sabha constituency. Counting of votes is underway. The constituency has around 1,37,924 eligible voters in this constituency. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal is contesting from the Aam Aadmi Party against Romesh Sabharwal of Indian National Congress and Sunil Kumar Yadav of the BJP. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal had won the seat in 2015 and in 2013. The candidates who contested in Delhi Assembly Elections 2020 from New Delhi seats are:

According to early trends, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal is leading in New Delhi.

ECI data shows that BJP’s Sunil Kumar Yadav is trailing behind Arvind Kejriwal by a margin of 2026 votes.

Arvind Kejriwal is maintaining a strong lead in New Delhi. He is now leading by a margin of 4387 votes in the constituency.

Delhi continues to maintain a strong lead in New Delhi. He is now leading by 6,399 votes. Trailing behind in the area is BJP’s Sunil Kumar Yadav.

Polling is under way in Delhi’s New Delhi constituency.

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal is at AAP’s party office in New Delhi where celebrations have already begun owing to the EC trends that hint towards AAP leading on 56 seats.

Arvind Kejriwal is leading by a margin of over 63% in New Delhi. He has got a total of 26,626 votes so far. BJP’s Sunil Kumar Yadav, on the other hand, has got just 12,349 votes so far.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray congratulates Arvind Kejriwal. “People have shown that the country will be run by ‘Jan Ki Baat’, not ‘Mann Ki Baat’. BJP called Kejriwal a terrorist but couldn’t defeat him,” he said in a statement.

Arvind Kejriwal addresses party workers as he is set to become the Chief Minister of Delhi for the third consecutive time. “I thank people of Delhi for reposing their faith in AAP for the third time. This the victory of the people who consider me as their son and voted for us,” Kejriwal in his speech.

“This is the beginning of a new kind of politics. This is a new sign,” Kejriwal added.

“I congratulate Arvind Kejriwal. The mandate given by the people of Delhi has shown that they will vote on work and development,” RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav said on AAP victory in Delhi Elections 2020.

Arvind Kejriwal, who was competiting against BJP’s Sunil Kumar Yadav, has won in New Delhi constituency. He got over 62% votes in the area.
