PM Modi begins BJP’s poll campaign in Himachal today, maximum focus will be on Kangra

The BJP is eyeing to wrest power from Congress and has shifted focus on Kangra because whichever party wins maximum numbers in the district forms the government.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will start campaigning for November 9 assembly polls in Himachal on Thursday with back to back rallies in Fatehpur assembly segment of Kangra district and Nahan in Sirmour.

Modi will address seven rallies in as many assembly constituencies across the state in the next four days.

Three rallies will take place in Kangra, the politically significant district that sends 15 legislators to the 68-member House.

On November 4, Modi will address rallies at Rait in Kangra and Sundernagar in Mandi district.

The Prime Minister will address three rallies on the last day of the campaign at Una, Palampur and Kullu.
