140 students fall ill in Karnataka's Mangaluru, food poisoning suspected

8-year-old tiger’s carcass found in Bandipura reserve

According to preliminary reports from the forest department, the eight-year-old tiger’s carcass was found in the lake. The remains were found by a farmer, said the officer.

Two held for dumping medical waste into Makuta reserve: Cops

According to forest officials, the two people were going back to Andhra Pradesh in a mini lorry after unloading goods in Kerala. While returning, the duo collected 15 bags of biowaste from a hospital, which was alleged to be disposed of in the Makuta reserve forest.

Girl injured as hair gets stuck in wheel, 3 booked in Mandya: Cops

Accused in PSI scam missing as CID visits house, case registered

Mangaluru cooker bomb explosion survivor discharged after 2 months

The autorickshaw driver, Purushotham Poojari, had sustained serious injuries in the blast, which occurred on November 19 last year at Garodi in Mangaluru. He was admitted to the hospital on the same day. Poojari had sustained 30 per cent burn injuries and was in the ICU and later shifted to the general ward.
