The youngster, Jitendra Arjunwar, had been missing from his hometown. Recently, it was found that he had been caught in Pakistan.
Reports from Pakistan media suggested that he had crossed the border from Rajasthan and the security personnel had arrested him.
During interrogation, he reportedly said that he had mistakenly crossed the fence. He said that he didn’t expect at all that crossing the fence would take him to another country.
He had thought that the barbed wires were to stop the cattle from straying into the fields.
Arjunwar is the second youngster from Madhya Pradesh who has been recently found lodged in Pakistan jail.
Budh Ram Marko, who hails from Dindori, is also lodged in a jail in Lahore.
The police officials say that in case of Marko, the central intelligence had conducted inquiry and his identity was ascertained.

In that case, efforts to get him released are being initiated through the diplomatic channel.
However, Arjunwar’s case has just been reported and now the authorities are taking up the case. In his hometown, there have been demonstrations urging the Centre to take action and get the youngster released safely from the Pakistan prison.
