According to police, Rameshwar Chaturvedi, 45, a resident of Ayodhya Nagar, was turning his car near Berasia, when he apparently failed to see the well and fell into it.

Local residents later rushed to the spot and he was brought out. However, he had died by then.

Police have registered a case in this regard. The victim’s kin has suspected foul play and have alleged that Chaturvedi may have been killed. They have demanded a fresh post-mortem.
