Bhopal: Railways to kick off clean India campaign

The Bhopal Rail Division will carry out a massive cleanliness drive as part of 'Swachh Bharat Mission' (clean India campaign).
Divisional railway manager (DRM) Rajeev Choudhary said that railway officers and employees would be involved in this campaign and activities like Shramdan related to cleanliness or to make the people aware about cleanliness on railway premises would be done.
He said 60 railway offices have been nominated to look after the cleanliness campaign that would be carried out at various stations and railway employees' residential area division. In the campaign, scouts and guides of railway, non-government organizations, public representatives will also participate.
The employees will also take oath on the occasion to keep the railway premises clean. The commuters will be made aware about the campaign by showing placards, messages on railway display boards and through other mediums.
Home minister Babulal Gaur, principal secretary (home) BP Singh and DGP Surendra Sinh will participate in the clean India campaign at Habibganj police station on Thursday.
