A 27-year-old woman in Bhopal has lodged a complaint against her husband, mother-in-law and father-in-law for allegedly harassing her demanding a Ferrari sports car in dowry.

The Mahila Thana police have registered a case against the accused and are investigating the case.

Police said Dr Sadaf Ali, a resident of 1250 area in Habibganj, was married to Syed Mehboob Ali, 30, in Koh-e-Fiza area last year. Syed used to work abroad and visit his home occasionally.

“On Thursday evening, the woman lodged a complaint against the three accused them of demanding a Ferrari car in dowry just after one month of the marriage,” said assistant sub-inspector JV Singh.
