Father's campaigning for rival is no problem for daughter

Union Home Minister Arjun Singh's daughter Veena Singh on Monday said she has no problem with her father's decision to campaign for rival Congress candidate Indrajeet Patel.

"I have no problem with my father's decision to campaign for the Congress candidate in the Sidhi constituency," Veena, who is the Independent nominee from the constituency said.

Asked how her campaign was faring, she said it was for the media to evaluate what stage it had reached. Veena said that she is seeking votes from people on the basis of the work done by her family in the Sidhi district for the last 50 years.

She said she is confident that she will be able to carry forward the good work done by her family for the people of Sidhi for a long time.
