Investors' summit will give fillip to development of MP: State BJP prez

MP BJP president Nand Kumar Singh Chauhan said, the upcoming global investor summit to be held at Indore from October 8-10 would provide a fillip to the economic development of the state.

State Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Nand Kumar Singh Chauhan on Saturday said the upcoming global investor summit (GIS) to be held at Indore from October 8-10 would provide a fillip to the economic development of Madhya Pradesh.

In a statement, the BJP state president said the economic growth rate of 11.8% clocked by the Madhya Pradesh suggests that the state has conducive environment for the investment. Madhya Pradesh has made great strides in agriculture and infrastructure too has developed greatly.

The state government is going about the investor meet very systematically and has put in place system to enable investment in the state in a smooth manner, said the statement.
