The police seized 1700 detonators, 600 kilogram explosive and two fuse wires from a house in Khari ward at village Pandurna in district Chhindwara on Friday.
The police have seized huge quanity of explosives from a house in Khari ward at village Pandurna in district Chhindwara on Friday. As many as1700 detonators and, 600 kilogram explosivewere recovered, said police.

The explosives were seized in a joint operation of the Madhya Pradesh Police and the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) team from Maharashtra. It is suspected that the explosives may have been stored for the Maoists.
Chhindwara, superintendent of police (SP), Mithlesh Shukla said two persons were arrested. When asked of about any Naxal or terrorist connection of those arrested, he said they were being interrogated to find out whether those involved in storing the detonators had any Maoistl or terrorist connection.
