Two youths die in mishap on VIP road in Bhopal

Two youths succumbed to death while another was critically injured when the motorcycle they were riding crashed into a divider on the VIP road near Koh-e-Fiza early on Saturday morning.

Two youths died while another was injured when the motorcycle they were riding crashed into a road divider on the VIP road near Koh-e-Fiza early Saturday morning.

Anuj Singh (23), Himanshu Singh alias Saurabh (22) and Rishabh Singh (22) were on their way from Lalghati towards Trilanga. At a turn, the person driving the bike apparently lost control and rammed it into the road divider, police said.

Anuj received fatal injuries and died on the spot. The other two were taken to Hamidia Hospital, where Himanshu succumbed to injuries during treatment. The condition of Rishabh continues to be critical, police said.

All the youths belonged to Nagod town in Satna district. During preliminary investigation, police found that the youths had gone for a party at night and were returning from there when the bike met with the accident.
