Youth tries to molest 6-year-old niece in Bhopal

A 22-year-old youth tried to molest his six-year-old niece in Saeed Nagar under the jurisdiction of Koh-e-Fiza police station in Bhopal on Saturday evening.

A 22-year-old youth tried to molest his six-year-old niece in Saeed Nagar under the jurisdiction of Koh-e-Fiza police station in Bhopal on Saturday evening.

According to Koh-e-Fiza police, the youth, Sunny, tried to molest his niece who was staying with her maternal grandparents. Sunny is her mother's brother.

Sunny, who works at a tent house, lured his niece by promising that he would buy her some sweets and toffees. However, he took her to a nullah nearby and tried to molest her.

A local, who was passing by, spotted him trying to molest the minor. He immediately called the neighbours and they thrashed him and handed him over to the police.

Sunny is being questioned by police, while the girl has been sent to a hospital for medical examination.
