Wednesday afternoon in the Capital brought together eminent names from the Indian film industry under one roof. The event, that took place at the FICCI Auditorium, saw actor-social activist Shabana Azmi, documentary filmmaker Mike Pandey, actor-filmmaker Prabhu Deva, filmmaker Jahnu Barua and cinematographer Santosh Sivan, among others, being honoured by the Minister for Information and Broadcasting Manish Tewari, for their contribution to Indian cinema.
While Prabhu Deva enthralled the audience with his dance moves, Pandey spoke about the need to have a documentary channel in the country.
