On a recent visit to the Capital, Peter, who is acting in Akshay Kumar's film Speedy Singhs, even took digs at Ash’s pregnancy saying that her husband "Abhishek (Bachchan) finally knocked her up."

Ever since then, fans of the actor have taken to the internet to vent their angst against the comedian.

“First question - when he doesn't watch Bollywood movies, then how can he judge if Ash knows to act or not? Has he ever watched her movies? First watch Raincoat, Chokher Bali, Guzarish, Provoked, and then comment Mr Russel Peters,” wrote Anon on pinkvilla.com.

“If you're a comedian you should be funny. He's just using Ash’s name because she's the best known Bollywood actress around the world,” wrote another user.

“And btw, he is NO actor himself and for someone who DOESN'T watch Bollywood films, he knows quite a lot about Aishwarya's acting skill. makes you wonder. idiot,” (sic) wrote filmichia.
