Ajay Devgn's latest release, Drishyam has collected a total of Rs 17.45 crore on the ticket windows within two days of its release.

Expected to pick up on Sunday, Drishyam, stars Ajay Devgn, Tabu and Shriya Saran and is directed by Nishikant Kamat, who helmed the 2011 John Abraham-starrer Force.

Made on an estimated budget of Rs 5/6 crore, Drishyam, which released this Friday, is a remake of a 2013 Malayalam film of the same name, which starred Mohanlal and Meena.

"Terrific word of mouth translates into super growth in biz on Day 2. #Drishyam Thu pre + Fri 8.05 cr, Sat 9.40 cr. Total: 17.45 cr," trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.

Meanwhile Salman Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan seems headed towards the Rs 300 crore mark at the box office. Adarsh also wrote that while Drishyam is registering growth, Salman Khan-Kareen Kapoor starrer Bajrangi Bhaijaan is an all time blockbuster. "#BajrangiBhaijaan (Week 3) Fri 4.11 cr, Sat 6.80 cr. Total: 283.16 cr. All time blockbuster."
